Art contest theme for January at NSider forums. Did this today, took a long, loooong time, like 3 hours or more total (that's a lot for me) but I tried a lot of new things with it and I'm totally diggin the result. I used different colors to shade instead of the same marker as the base color and therefore got a lot more depth and color out of it. This pic totally sounds man, I really dig it.

Heh, this is a fun concept. Nice to see some encouraging art for the upcoming StarFox DS game. Plus, I really don't think there's enough art of the whole team together...I don't know, I feel like I always see drawings of one or two characters.

My only complaints are that Slippy's smile is a little creepy and Krystal's armor isn't purple (that is, her tribal armor isn't...and that's what it looks like she's wearing), but those are pretty miniscule. Good luck with that contest.

Thanks for all the nice words. I'm really excited for the Star Fox DS game but right now I'm broke, so even when it comes out I'm gonna have to wait till I have the 35 dollars to buy it.

I think part of the reason his smile is creepy is because his mouth is so big... but yes, it is creepy. And Krystal's armour is purple because I wanted to color it that way XD I felt like there was too much brown in the picture already with Fox's fur and the team's coats, so I made it purple. But good eye noticing that.
